• Manages the logistics for the receipt, storage, retrieval, transfer and destruction of specimens. • Coordinates the movement of specimens into and out of the archive as requested by functional groups and per company policy, as well as appropriate standard operating procedures. • Makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results. • Performs limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments. • Completes manifests, reports, logs and records for all documented actions. • Under supervision, assists in the initiation of emergency response and functional area contact when required resulting from equipment malfunction. • Assists in the revision of current SOP’s and WI’s for department. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Executes duties with minimal supervision. Minimum Requirements
PREFERED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• B.S. with relevant work experience or A.S. with an equivalent combination of education, training and industry working experience
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of GLP/GCP
TECHNICAL AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS:
• Demonstrates good communication skills both oral and written
• Possesses competent computer skills
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
• Emerging knowledge of safety requirements and regulations
